Our story
Heritage was started in 1983 by Gayle Mayben along side her daughter Roni Mayben. The two ran the business together until Roni took over when Gayle retired in 2001. Roni is a Certified Care Manager and an expert in the long-term care industry with over 40 years of experience. In 2023 her son Brian Painter joined the company after a career in corporate finance in the healthcare industry. As of 2024 Brian is now co-owner and operator of Heritage.

Where do I begin with Heritage Senior Care? First and foremost I am very pleased with how Professional and caring the staff are at this company. They all have such great customer service and are very attentive with answering any questions or concerns I had regarding care of my grandmother. I am happy and very content to have trusted this company and their staff. My grandmother has had nothing but the best care from their caregivers, she has nothing but good to say about everyone everyday. I appreciate the fact that the staff members are always a phone call away which is very reassuring ! I would recommend this company for anyone who needs someone to take care of their love ones! During the initial assessment, the Care Manager was very helpful & inquired as to not only my Mother's health, but as to her needs, likes & even hobbies, so as to provide the best caregiver available for our family. I interviewed several agencies & Heritage's prices were competitive inline with industry standards. Apparently, they've been in business since 1983 & are family-owned & woman-owned...that certainly gave me the comfort & reassurance I needed to choose them for my Mom's care. Mom has been delighted with her two new companions...one on weekdays & one for weekends. The caregivers definitely have a passion for their work & make sure my Mother is not only groomed, fed & bathed, but also stimulated, ambulated, entertained & socialized. We even received a coupon for a discount off our inital service!

I could not have asked for better care for my parents. My father is nearly 80 and is in not so good health due to a recent fall. My mother who is the same age and in fairly good health needed the extra care and companionship Janet provided them. I was referred to Heritage Senior Care at my dads my Dr office. He told me Heritage provided care to his father as well. Thank you to the kind office staff and the after hours call service. You girls have no idea the stress you have taken off me and the joy you have brought to my parents. I have and will continue to recommend your company any chance I get.
